Beth Ditto showed us how much of a catwalk queen she is when she closed the runway for Marc Jacobs. The indie singer brought her signature rocker-girl swagger to the star-studded Spring 2016 show at New York Fashion Week in July.
The 34 year old singer, helped the luxury designer close fashion’s biggest week in an off-the-shoulder, silver sequin embellished white gown. Platform heels helped accentuate the gown’s thigh-high slit, and Ditto carried a feather boa as she sashayed down the runway at Manhattan’s Ziegfeld Theatre.
“I got an email, and then I answered it, and then I flew here for a fitting,” Ditto told Elle of her surprise walk.
The appearance wasn’t Ditto’s first time on the catwalk, however. Back in 2010, the star opened and closed Jean Paul Gaultier’s NYFW Spring presentation.
