We’ve compiled a list of beauty must-have products to keep your skin hydrated and what they actually do to help you achieve that dewy look this season!
Hydrate : Your skin needs a lot of light hydrating instead of one heavy one so as to activate it and make it more receptive to the products you would use on it. Hydrating your skin will make it plump and quenches skin without oiliness. Hence, we suggest you use a gel-to-water liquid product packed with hydrators and nutrients that will sink deep into your skin as the perfect thing to hydrate your skin.
Base: Having oily skin doesn’t exempt you from the risk of dehydration. You are just as prone to dehydration as any other skin type. To achieve that glow-giving foundation that has an added hydrated look and feel to your skin, you need to look for the words ‘hydrating or ‘luminous’ on your foundation bottle. Products enriched with rose water, aloe vera and other natural bases are perfect for your skin and would leave no greasy after-feel.
Sculpt and Contour: For the perfect adjustment of your skin tone this summer you can blend a drop of a shade adjusting product along the forehead, under the cheekbones, across the jawbones, and down the sides of your nose. This is a perfect way to make your tone a shade lighter or darker pending the shade of your skin.
Prime: Primer tends to blur off small imperfections. So once your skin is plump and quenched, you can top it with a moisturizer that contains SPF and add a layer of primer to keep the moisture in and anchor your foundation. A good primer will unify your complexion, blur fine lines and make your pores disappear.
Highlight and Glow: For the perfect highlighting, it’s better to go half a shade lighter to wake up any complexion. Just dab a little liquid highlighter on the high points of your face. That is your cheekbones, brow bones, Cupid’s bow and chin. Then pull the whole look together with a touch of shimmery bronzer.
