The Celebrate My Size Expo powered by PLUS Model Magazine gave the curvy fashionistas the opportunity to browse their favourite plus size brands and labels as well as discover some new ones. There were drinks and light refreshments, beauty demos and much more.

Lane Bryant, a plus-size retailer has worked tirelessly with the blogging community to produce content and awareness of their brand. They were at the expo yesterday looking for new style influencers to work with and spoke on the importance of events like Full Figure Fashion Week in inspiring and empowering the curvy community.
Ashley Stewart, another curvy girl store were promoting their #IAMAshley campaign, an important initiative which encourages body positivity and acceptance and telling people to simply love the body they are in. Ashley Stewart has been aligning themselves with a positive view of body image for the last two decades and continues to do important and necessary work in the plus-size community.
Events such as ‘Celebrate My Size’ are vital in the plus movement because whilst fashion, beauty and fun are all well and good, the takeaway is that YOU are enough and your body shape or size should not hinder or limit you in any way.
